Bonjour!
Hello Lovelys, I'm Daniella. This Blog is dedicated to Stephanie Perkins Novels, (mainly ANNA). This is also the very first active blog of its kind. Be sure to check out the JUST EDITS tab to fill that ANNA, LOLA, or ISLA void in your life:) Also, check out the LIKE ANNA? tag for book suggestions that are like AatFK! Feel free to message me, I'd love to have a chat! I hope you enjoy your stay:*

william-owain-herondale asked: Hi PenguinTeen! Since there will be a hardcover of Isla and the Happily Ever After coming out in the new cover, when will the hardcovers of the other 2 books be having the new covers too? I wanted to purchase them in hardcover but it would be weird if the covers don't match up nicely :/

Hi there! Sadly, the answer to your question is no—once we go into paperback, we tend not to go back. But eventually there will be an ISLA paperback with the same hardcover look that will match the current ANNA and LOLA paperbacks, so if you want you can have them all matching in paperback. We know lots of people like their covers and formats to match, but it’s not always something we can control.

In fact, we MIGHT someday have corresponding hardcovers for ANNA and LOLA. Hard to say - it’s mostly a matter of when we might (if ever) reprint the hardcover jackets and if there’s any substantial continued demand for hardcover editions. -JSG, Dutton

You know how to make this happen? Buy lots of copies of ANNA, LOLA, and ISLA!!

My editor (jsgabel) and agent (ktliterary) chime in on the cover issue.

I’m head-over-heels for my new covers, and I’d certainly love to see them on the hardcover editions of ANNA and LOLA. But this depends on sales. It depends on you. It’s pretty simple—books are expensive to print! It has to be worth my publisher’s time, money, and effort.

If you like my books, spread the word. Recommend them to friends, family, coworkers, the internet. That’s how this will happen.

This warmth over the telephone. Is it possible for home to be a person and not a place? Bridgette used to be home to me. Maybe St. Clair is my new home. I mull this over as our voices grow tired and we stop talking. We just keep each other company. My breath. His breath. My breath. His breath. I could never tell him, but it’s true. This is home. The two of us. Anna and the French Kiss

I also took some artsy shots (or tried to)

why would you organize your bookshelf by color that makes no sense the series aren’t even together it’s a messssss

i tried it for a while and it was a mess but it was the most beautiful mess i’ve ever made tbh

It’s pretty but it makes me not happy because they should be in alphabetical order dangit

1) Alphabetical Order? I’ve never heard of that outside of book shops tbh. I can see why that would be helpful but id actually rather group by genre than alphabetical.
2) Why by color and not by series? Because I buy physical books to look aesthetically pleasing on my shelf (as opposed to buying books on my kindle) so why not make them look as beautiful as possible. I still know where every single book is because I remember what the book looks like.

Also this “mess” has almost 10k notes on its original post so obviously something is working

Your shelves are beautiful! Just ignore them haha.

Beautiful shelfie!

some of my fav shelves.

thanks:D
